Thought he was excellent today. Brilliant crossing and free kicks. Not sure why some are so neagtive about him. He's worth his place for his delivery IMO!

COYR!

Definitely there were some negative aspects to his game as well though. As usual, he's just not on the same page as the rest of the team when trying to keep the ball on the ground.

Think he did OK today in our back 2 of Fox and Fonte... Unusual formation we used only playing two defenders. Hooiveld and Yoshida should have come out and played at some point really.

Clyne was better than him when he filled in as an LB IMO.

Definitely frustrating, that; the spell of 20+ passes that eventually led to Fox booting the ball aimlessly exemplified it.

He was much more solid today, though. Fulham found room at times, but he wasn't ceding half the pitch with regularity. Of course, Fulham wasn't exactly getting into space for much of the game, either.

Our best spell of possession in the match, typically ended by Fox. Defensively he was good enough though.

If you can have a go at Fox, you must want to kill Hooiveld. <laugh>

He's been really unfortunate. I feel for him.

I would say nerves and pressure are getting to him to be honest. It's only going to get worse if he keeps making mistakes as well. I think the only way to solve it would be to give him more game time.. which of course we won't do if Yoshida and Fonte are both fit.

can hardly blame Fox for the goals against us, he did what a good full back does, if the winger is faster than you then you step off, Fox does it well. Regarding Hooiveld, i dont want to blame him but does anyone esle think he looks far to heavy on his feet? he looks pretty immobile in my opinion.
Its a shame because hes outstanding last year, our unsung hero probably.

Hook veld looked in trouble when the ball is hit in behind him to a striker running the channels
He will be great against Stoke, West Ham etc but struggles against the quick strikers looking for the space behind him

I'm not a fan of Fox, but he didn't do too much wrong today - his best game of the season

Although as Dark Lord says, he worries me defensively

I'm not sure we have a single defender who doesn't worry me defensively. I'm not going to go around picking Fox out specifically. Top delivery for the 2nd goal though.
