Im not trying to piss on your parade with Rodgers but isnt 10 of those players that started was also on Kennys teamsheet last year, only Sturridge who Rodgers has signed has really worked out so far, Allen, Borini, and Sahin haven't quite been up to the standard, do you think these will come good or are his next transfers going to be the same where they haven't quite looked like players that should be Liverpool quality.
We are on 36pts. Normally need around 70 for CL. I reckon it will be a bit lower this season, around 65-67 mark. Means we need 30+ pts from the remaining 13 games including Everton, Spurs and Chelsea at Anfield. It is not impossible but I'm willing to do a Mr Gonzo and get my nuts chop if we make top four!!!
Allen looked good, but then his form dropped. Borini got injured and hasn't really had a chance. They are both young and have time to improve. Better than the days when all we had was N'gog and Spearing as back up.
I should probably point out that I'm planning to have the snip shortly anyway so, dedpite it not being a risk at all, I've not actually put anything on the line
Probably for the best, you could do without another little ****ter around the house. You could always come here for a ****. 3 toilets and a gf that doesn't even ****.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what Coutinho can bring to us. Can he give us even cutting edge and improve our goal threat further? There is not much I would change about our starting 11 today looking at the long term. Kelly for Carragher, maybe Coutinho for Downing if he settles in fast. If Borini can get going this season we could really build up the points.
Wait a minute............. You had a pretty good game against a totally dilapidated Man City which you didn`t even win and all of sudden you are world beaters! Take the tinted glasses off and for all the good passes there were as many bad. Don`t get me wrong it was a good match to watch as neutral especially if wishing for a draw. There were some good goals but equally bad defending. Liverpool are on course to have their lowest points total for a long time, if your supporters are happy with that then fair enough but it shows just how much your club has fallen.
Dont really get what you are saying, I am not anti Reina just he has a timing issue, he seems to make high profile mistakes as in against bigger teams, it could just be me that remembers them more, but I dont see other keeprs doing that. Just frustrating, def not calling for Reina to be dropped, he still one of the best. Does opta tell you how many goals cassilias has been directly responsible for btw?
That's fortunate. I'd hate to think you were spending your time on opposition fans' forums because you have nothing better to do in your life... But seriously, "all of a sudden world beaters", "tinted glassses", "Don't get me wrong...but..." And last but not least, that ol' favourite emotional card of, "if you're happy with that, blah blah" Possibly the least origional post I've read in a long time. You need to find something better to do.
Where have we said we are world beaters? As LIVERPOOL fans we are all pleased to see the progress OUR team is making. That is because this is a LIVERPOOL forum and we like to discuss LIVERPOOL FC with fellow LIVERPOOL supporters. If you don't like our delusions of grandeur then **** off to wherever you come from. Also how is it you can call city dilapidated ? Champions and 2nd in prem. if they are dismissed so easily then why bother watching the premier league?
The past two performances have been far better, still a few little annoyances, such as playing downing and bringing Allen on for Sturridge when we could have done with a goal. I'm happy with two draws at Arsenal and City and would have taken those two results any season. At the start of the season I thought sixth should be a realistic target and is now one we can easily achieve.
