I'd stick a bid in for Adebayo Akinfenwa, he big, powerful & scored last week against Liverpool so he'll obviously be able to cut it in the PL. Get on it Brucey!!

Perhaps he hasnt been given funds. A few weeks back he said we werent looking to sign anyone. Maybe this is the one time in the tens of thousands of times a manager has said that in which it is actually true.

In our current predicament, I think both our owner and our manager would jump at the chance to sign a decent striker for £3m.

Though I don't expect a fortune to be made available, I'm sure there are some funds available, our whole business model is based on remaining a Premier League club.

Agree completely, you have to imagine for roughly £3mill, we ain't going to get anyone with this quality.....looks like he can control the ball aswell, may even be able to work as lone striker as he looks quite strong!

I agree of course. I was just tossing it out there is all.

I've just been having a look at how Guidetti has been getting on and it's not as well as I thought, he started brilliantly but has looked mediocre recently and hasn't scored since November.

If he was that good id have thought Swansea would have asked for him as part of the deal for bony. £25m + Guidetti luvley jubbly.
If he's as good as people think clubs would be queuing round the block for him at that price.

I expect we'll take someone on loan, or for about £2.5m, right at the end of the window.

I can't think of anyone, and can't say I'm excited by the prospect of any new signings at the moment.

We need someone who is Premier League quality, who is cheap, and who isn't a general Premier League **** - and I'm not sure if that person exists.

Probably with the exception of Burnley, all the clubs from Villa downwards will be scrapping for same players including Defoe and Sanogo.

It's time for Brucie to use his Man United contacts to and get young Wilson in on loan.

I just mentioned Wilson on a different thread, would surely be seen as a great opportunity for him to get starting some games.
