The thing that makes me laugh about Forest is that you'd think winning the European Cup would leave a legacy (even after the manager that was in charge had left). Yet they get smaller crowds than Leicester, who have never even won the FA Cup, can't create an atmosphere at home if their lives depended on it, and have spent 3 years in League 1.
Now, Leeds are a sleeping giant. They have loads of fans and in 2 seperate periods in their history have been very successful. I don't like them, but no one can deny that they are way too low in the league ladder for the size of their club. Forest are a completely diffferent kettle of fish. They are a tinpot club who had one great manager. I'd say we are more of a 'sleeping giant' than Forest as I feel we've underachieved for a club with this size fanbase.
The biggest fluke in football history award goes to Nottingham Forest in the Clough years.
