yeah never going to happen, why leave a team in an automatic promotion spot atm to help a strugging Forest.

Normally, I'm not one to laugh at other team's failures because I know how quickly things can change in this sport. The thing that has caused this reaction though is the Forest fans' attitudes. Particularly on the old 606, they were always on our boards telling us how they don't care about us (oh the irony) and we weren't their rivals and they used to talk like they were still one of the best teams in Europe. Fair enough, if Leicester had won back-to-back Champions Leagues I would probably be smug about it, but it was their perception that Forest would soon be back amongst the elite and they were destined once more for European glory. Meanwhile, we used to tell them that they were deluded and had a board that would take them backwards before they could get anywhere near the top again but they carried on none the less with this 'sleeping giant' talk. I just think we're happy to be proved that we were right .
The thing that makes me laugh about Forest is that you'd think winning the European Cup would leave a legacy (even after the manager that was in charge had left). Yet they get smaller crowds than Leicester, who have never even won the FA Cup, can't create an atmosphere at home if their lives depended on it, and have spent 3 years in League 1. Now, Leeds are a sleeping giant. They have loads of fans and in 2 seperate periods in their history have been very successful. I don't like them, but no one can deny that they are way too low in the league ladder for the size of their club. Forest are a completely diffferent kettle of fish. They are a tinpot club who had one great manager. I'd say we are more of a 'sleeping giant' than Forest as I feel we've underachieved for a club with this size fanbase. The biggest fluke in football history award goes to Nottingham Forest in the Clough years.
You have (or had ) a board to sign players! WTF! No wonder McClaren felt undermined. It all became clear when Pleat was ousted. He is the most overrated T%at in the game.
You're missing Perchy. We'll sell him back to you for 80,1 mio. Also he comes with one free Alan Smith. Remember the season we were in the fizzy pop and you were contending? Man how times have changed. Us sitting pretty 4th in the prem, your lot sitting 4th from bottom in the championship. oh well upwards and onwards. We all knew Mcclaren sucked. He's sucked everywhere apart from Twente where he only suceeded due to that canny accent.
