I havent felt like posting again but I thought I should. Thanks for the wishes, I dont need any help its nice of people to offer but I got plenty of relatives and such so dont worry about me. I was at the WBA game when it started so I wasnt there but it started because some idiot was off roading in the canyon below my house in a jeep and set the grass under it on fire. My address is 1300 Sand Ridge so it really sucks when they name the fire the Sand Ridge Fire. Here is a photo we took at the police blockade when we tried to get back to the house. My house is exactly where the smoke is coming from.

My girls uncle heard about the fire when it started and immediately took an old mining road he knew of to get past the police blockades and through the fire to save all my animals he could. He had to give up when the flames got to my pine trees, he said the fire was at least a hundred feet higher than my pines which means the fire was about 250-300 feet tall on my property as my ponderosa pines are 150 feet tall. Last he saw the fire it was about 100 feet from my house, he said he didnt see how they could save it. We were listening to the fire department bandwidth when he was there and we minuets after he left we heard them order a plane load of fire ******ant on my roof. They were listing the address so it was def my house, they also hit my roof with 3 helicopters. It would be really hard to imagine that they could have saved my house. They had a video of one house being blown up by a propane tank going off and it was hard to tell if it was my house. Most of my close neighbors houses burned down while news cameras filled them. None of the videos actually show my house burning down, but certainly all my outbuildings are gone as they were all in the trees to provide shade for my animals. A lot of my neighbors are poor and dont have fire insurance so its going to be real hard on them, we do so it shouldnt be a problem for us.
Here is a photo of the smoke coming from beyond my property line when he got to my house, he didnt take a photo of the fire in over my trees because he was in a real rush to get out of there.

From listening to them at least 30 homes are gone, its hard to tell because soon as they think they cant save one they just abandon the fire line there. So the official count is only 10 homes but they are not actually counting most of the homes that they are losing. There are over 2,000 firefighters on my street right now, 156 fire trucks, 3 dozen bulldozers, 10 airplanes and 10 helicopters. They also taken all the fire certified prisoners from Folsom Prison and the big prison near Stockton to the fire and they are making breaks with shovels and picks. As of early yesterday it had burned 4,000 acres, so I would think it will be up to 7-8,000 by the next update in about 5 hours. If it crosses the next road it will get into 2 of the largest US national forests which go all the way to Tahoe and the Cali border with Nevada so the fire has a real chance to become massive. The fire is really multiple fires that are racing up canyons. This is a video of part of the fire that is in the grass and hasnt gotten into the trees. In the first few seconds of the video you will see a massive column of smoke over a ridge. That smoke is coming directly from where my place is, after that the video is from a section that is about 4 miles from my house.
