Seems pretty good to me, PMK. Almost certainly better than mine. ;) Half my family are from Ireland, half from England. I know the odd phrase or two in Gaelic, but not much.

I know. I meant revenge for me...had a bet on Ireland to get a surprise win over Italy and I'm holding grudge! <ok>

The Sonic Youth track was a good interpretation. Many of the Carpenters tunes themselves are very good songs - it was just the cheesy American presentation that put me off all those years ago. Don't think I could take a full album of it though.

The Dinosur Jr track sounded like a poor copy of REM! Or perhaps it's my jaded palette.
