Sorry CCC - nice tune but if England do beat italy we'll be doing it for ourselves and not for revenge for Ireland.

 

Seems pretty good to me, PMK. Almost certainly better than mine. Half my family are from Ireland, half from England. I know the odd phrase or two in Gaelic, but not much.

I know. I meant revenge for me...had a bet on Ireland to get a surprise win over Italy and I'm holding grudge!

The Sonic Youth track was a good interpretation. Many of the Carpenters tunes themselves are very good songs - it was just the cheesy American presentation that put me off all those years ago. Don't think I could take a full album of it though.

The Dinosur Jr track sounded like a poor copy of REM! Or perhaps it's my jaded palette.
