The former mackem heartland of Peterlee
Retail tycoon Mike Ashley has told Sky News he is in talks to sell Newcastle United in a deal he hopes will go through before the January transfer window.

Mr Ashley told Sky's Ian King Live the talks were not yet at an "exclusive" stage but that they were "at a more progressed stage than they have ever been".

He will sell to anyone without the club's interest at heart

My prediction

Out of the frying pan and into the fire

Don’t get me wrong I’d ****ing love it to be true much like most of us, we’ve been here so many times before tho!

“I am hopeful for the Newcastle fans, for the club, for everybody, that I will be able to step aside and we will be able to get an owner in that will please everybody.“

Blood pressure through the roof reading that.....f*****g spoofer, as if he gave a toss about us fans.

Did you see hismlong pause when he was asked about is it at advanced stages. ****ing ****er you can just see him with that wry smile thinking “stupid ****ing geordies will fall for this **** again”

On a side note if he does sell up he can kee Perez as part of the deal.

Pause ? I wish he would just stop

To be fair though he was asked the question rather than offering it up. He also stated it was hopeful rather than realistic. He doesn’t need to spin anything to excuse not buying. We don’t expect it anyway and neither does Rafa listening to his recent comments. I know our fans love a conspiracy but it’s a case of nothing to see here.

I've spoke with the androminans and it's untrue thst advised we will lose our manager to man united in January and get relegated

Mike Ashley needs to do 3 things to basically get the fans onside:

1. Take down the Sports Direct ****e and replace it with a commercial partnership with something other than a betting company.

2. Give Rafa about £40million in the next window

3. Stop buying ****ty failing retailers.

Seriously, it isn't hard, in fact the first two are dead easy.

He chooses not to do that. He's a ****.
