    3 for me

I'm not too sure this will give an accurate level of response from a predominantly CTWD forum, how did the results go with the southern supporters club?

If I'm thinking of the right survey then about 92% against the change in the HCSSC, not sure of the split between 1 and 2 though. (If it is the same survey the non-voting members were lumped in as a 3 if memory serves).

I'm not sure how accurate any forum can be of the support as a whole, but based on other postings we're one of the few forums where there's any non-CTWD presence (using CTWD as the anti-argument in this case rather than spcifically the group). Of course the nature of people who would be against the name change means they're more likely to be people who've been following the club for longer, which means they're more likely to be die hard fans than not as longer term support means we were lower league, which in turn means they're more likely to use forums and join supporters groups than the average fan. The reflection of that being that casual fans are less likely to be bothered about the name change, and are also less likely to have joined up to anything other than turning up on the day than the average fan would be. Obviously there are die hard fans who aren't bothered, and casual fans who are, I'm just talking generalised trends not all inclusive statements.

    2

im not bothered enough to actively flap my arms around - i think that should be the difference between 1 and 2 (would you be prepared to go out the house to voice your opposition )

call it what you like but im not bothered enough for it to affect my life -

and im absolutely honest when i say that in all the people ive spoken about this who i know , from friends family workmates and people on xbox live
not a single one has said NO , not one single person . The worst i get is the odd piss take on xbox live , but even then when being serious they feel the owner has every right -

Funny, I think accepting the name change without question is the very definition of 'shallow'.

None, but I remain open to the possibility that I'm wrong.

Also, on this occassion I may have misread the question and missed the bit were it said "the proposed" which makes it specifically about the change in it's present form rather than just the idea of changing it from A to B. <doh>
