This is a really ****ty move for Fonte. Well done super Agent Mendes, you got him out the door.

West Ham fans seem overjoyed. A 33 yr old defender for 8m when their top player is wanting out. Just what they need.
 
I don't give two hoots that Fonte is moving on. I never have with any player. It's all about ensuring that he is adequately replaced. Given that we've already recently messed up in that area when it came to Mane and Pelle, and January isn't the best time to be signing players, you'll hopefully forgive me for feeling slight cautious. I have no doubts that we are looking, and I would expect someone to come in. But equally, I'm not going to walk around with my eyes closed.
 
Gonna have to take a leaf from beefys book and not get attached to players. Really did not think jose would leave us, and west ham of all places ffs. [HASHTAG]#Wemoveon[/HASHTAG]

This is true. Still a bit crap though. He was a good fella, and its a shame it all went to ****. That's humans though, fallible!

There's only one way to deal with this. Some new signing mania! Stop promoting your son Les and get on with it!
