I don't know how many on here followed his battle, but I had the pleasure of meeting the lad - he was a bowel cancer sufferer like me. His daughter, Becky, who he adored, has just put something up over the road.

Raise a glass on Friday at 3.30 to a brave fighter, nice guy and massive lads fan. Very sad.

I followed his story,he was a brave man. His sister used to post updates too I remember. Sad loss.
