The bloke needs to get a life away from this board. I remember when he - and Judo and Igor (?) - came over from another site, it was clearly a big part of his life right from the start. I've no idea how many posts he's clocked up since but I'd guess he got plenty of 'awards' from not606. As Stan says, his views and style upset some. I thought he dealt with the criticism well (ignoring rather than getting into rows) but I was obviously wrong, he's better off away from it all.
 
I felt that the lack of balance in his posts was getting tiresome but I despised the targeting of him by some on here. I agree that he may actually be better off not on here. Clearly he has blue and white pumping through his veins and for that I was never critical of him. He had been a good and interesting poster but in recent times his contribution couldn't be taken seriously. I hope he comes back as the Flyer of old.
 
Thought he wrote a load of old flannel, didn't deserve to be abused for it. Shame on you!

Thats correct. So I have exchanged posts with Flyer on a number of occasions on this and another message board before, and it is a shame that he has left as he spoke a lot of sense.

Also, from having met him, he is a decent guy and cares about the club we all care about. Doesn't deserve to be threatened for posting his opinion, which is exactly what message boards are about.
 
Rollers description of the event that led to Flyers departure (on the Official Version thread) shows that sometimes Posts which are meant to be in humour, can be taken as serious by some readers. A lesson for all posters to stay away from comments that could be taken in two ways.

Very true my friend. We all need to bear in mind that other posters may have different sensibilities to ourselves.

Let me assure you that seldom do I agree with his comments but as a regular / daily contributor, he is without doubt a valuable member of our forum.

Because we all have different views on what is happening with our team but make no mistake, he loves over team, the one you and I feel the same way about.
We can't always think alike and if we did, it would be boring so regardless of what 'Flyer' thinks, I do value his input.

I'd like to apologize to one and all for my outburst late last night ( first line )
I was quite intoxicated for which is no excuse.

The remainder of my comment I still strongly support and so, in a sober state, I would like to reaffirm my support not only for Flyer but to everyone to adds their worthy opinion to the forum.
As I said, I didn't always support his comments but certainly did value his presence ob the board.

When the time is right Flyer ................... you'll be most welcomed back.
