was ok... #whichwinger actually played...

lets face it spurs put up no show of pushing either full back for us did they... lennon was actually on the pitch was he?

Yes but with the lack of defensive work he was no spare part, his passing and driving forward was brilliant. One of the stand out parts of his game is his passing, he rarely loses the ball in possession.

Plus Lennon got subbed because he was getting nothing past Flanno, except Flanno bursting past him with ease.

He certainly has improved on the ball - some of his control/touches are brilliant.

And let's not forget his assist for Coutinho's goal - great turn and is showing a lot of confidence.

And finally, its nice to have a defender who will go in hard and really intimidate the attacker.

Love his tackling. Proper old school no nonsense.

A couple of seasons ago every time he played I thought he was going to get sent off - but his timing has improved so much.

Yep, definitely getting better. I do maintain that we need to bring a first team left back.

Great to see Jimmy finally seeing sense :)

Flanno's aggresive tackling style is awesome, I absolutely love it! Only problem is, if he slightly mis-times it then there are shouts for a red. No way do I want him to change though

Haha. I still think Aly is a better defender but Flanno's all round game is far superior. As I mentioned, some of his control is brilliant at times. I also think his first time passing is seriously underrated.

I think he will prove to be a very good utility player for us <ok>
