Imagine the confidence this kid is getting at the moment. He must be high as a ****ing kite. Cafu, tweeting about you and calling you that! He's the most in form England RB and should have been given a chance in the recent friendlies to see how he can step up at International level. What's even worse was he was overlooked for England Under 21's!!!
If there is one thing BR can do, I reckon it's that. We've seen with Sterling how well he's managing the young players and Gerrard called him the best man manager he'd had which is saying something.

Flanagan's Dad [John] was on Liverpool's books in the 80's as a teenager but he never made it [following losing his father]. He's keeping him grounded knowing the mistakes he made doesn't want Jon going down the same path. Really good to have local talent coming through.
