I did not know league one matches were televised ! anyhow we have to wait till Feb to play Accrington Stanley H, darn it. Luton away good first away match. 6 weeks on Saturday by the way the season starts. At the minute I have me England mug and the giant st George flag flying !, and will get our boy to take me to the world cup final if we get there !

Oh for sure mate although the difference in standard (based at the moment on the teams who are in both leagues) looks massive. The championship looks very hard this coming season.

Bag of nerves me, sometimes ashamed of what I read myself saying.

Tough start for you lads, if anything in this league is going to be tough for you.

Charlton along with yourselves are one of the bookies favourites to win the league.

Follow that with promotion favourites and newly promoted Luton and then home again against Scumthorpe, certainly an interesting start.

Then the long trip to my lot on a Tuesday night, pretty ****te being midweek for me.

Your lads might as well stay down South for your away game up the road from us AFC Wimbledon.

April will certainly be a test if you haven't wrapped it up by then, with Coventry, Posh and Pompey to take on.

Southend away on the last day and our lot at Blackpool the computer did neither of us any favours.

Hope you are right mate, but remember last year, a lot looked and should have been winnable then, a bad start ensued from which we never recovered. I am hoping and praying that we get off to a good start this time of course, but its not going to be a cakewalk, if the players attitude is not right this league can bite.

We started ok mate, 3 unbeaten and a great win at Norwich.

It was after that that ****ed it <laugh>

Lets hope we don't get there then, not like we can't strengthen. :emoticon-0114-dull:

Sunderland AFC’s second home league game of the 2018-19 season is to move back 24 hours.

The Black Cats were due to play Scunthorpe United FC on Saturday 18 August at the Stadium of Light. The game will now be played on Sunday 19 August at 3pm.

The change has been made due to Sunderland AFC’s Carabao Cup first round tie against Sheffield Wednesday FC being selected for live broadcast and moved to Thursday 16 August, 7.45pm.
