He's a big lad, not always uses his strength, rather than not being fit, he seemed to lose interest in a game. I'd say he wasn't the total footballer Dutch players have the rep for, more a useful squad man, not quite what you would expect from Swansea players. Perhaps like Shelvey, had the promise but not fulfilled.

He looks more eager and fit when trying to go forward on a chance to score , than he does trailing an opposing attack on defence ... seems to lose heart .
Anyways , I like him a lot and played very , very well for Norwich before you guys got him .
One of those players that plays better in the top flight it seems .
