I'm really surprised you are all leaving out Steve Davis... He's the first player on my team sheet... We just don't gel as a team with out him.

These different first 11's a re just reinforcing the strength of the squad and how far we've come, even when you look at last season.

We have 3 current internationals and a club captain to pick from in central defence (with one of them providing cover at right back) and an exciting young back up at full back (far more appealing than having to put up with Fox)

A group of central midfielders who know each other well and are great team players, again with a range of different skillsets and who seem to be really thriving in the current system. Again, highly rated youngsters providing further back up/competition.

Guly or JWP/Ramirez/Davis out of position was out only option wide last season if we got an injury - now there's Tadic, Long, Mane and Rodriguez who can all offer something very different to each other and wh can also all (Tadic aside, maybe) play through the middle should anything hapen to Pelle.

So whilst the size of the squad hasn't increased, the depth this season is infinately better and I expect that to result in the first team changing depending on form/opposition/fitness.

This is the best squad since I started supporting the Saints.

    Davis

    Tadic

Subs = Davis (GK), JWP, Targett, Gardos, Cork

Like a few others here the only down moment of the transfer window for me was Ramirez going out on loan. Now I can see why, as our depth is still pretty awesome. Should have more faith in "the management" I suppose.
