That's a huge burden to carry. Suarez carried an ordinary team to a whisker of the title. That's some expectation we are putting on the lad!

Put it this way, flop or not, he's probably the most exciting signing since Suarez no doubt.

Yes Coutinho/Can/Sturridge have been exciting since but none were really stand out big names marquee signing.

Yes they'll be pressure on him with that price tag, however that big marquee signing is something to get th fans excited about.

Can you call Firmino a "stand out, big name, marquee signing" if nobody else was in for him? Not being funny here, I suspect he will be very good but at the moment he is just like Coutinho and Can in respect to his fame.
 
There we're rumours that Utd were in for him I posted it on your board a few days ago. You never know how true these rumours are though.
He's a big signing no doubt and has a great reputation, if it completes we will have done well to get him.

if that is the dea it is a good one. it is good for hoffenhiem too of course as a club who unearthed him as it were but can never expect to do much bar sell in the end.


LFC selling sterling? absolutely now. its now and open invite to them to bid. if they now try hmmm 43 mil or something i'd reject still. they might try it on knowning we have replaced him
