I hadn't heard of him tbh.

1 in 3 is fairly good though.

A lot of money.

Evidently gone backwards <yikes><laugh>

It's super-inflated, as they all are, gut feelings about this guy and Milner are good. Gut feelings about Ings are not, think Origi is gonna struggle for a while as well but he's even younger than Firmy

Come to see what was being said after seeing you had signed player on SSN because I know nothing about him, then I stated as I do with United targets who we are apparently close to signing its paper talk to being told its cos I'm jealous and bitter <laugh><laugh><laugh>

So now you're saying we've signed him when your original whinge was that it was only speculation.<laugh>

Congratulations, you are without doubt the worst wum to visit our board.<ok>

It is great to get a new exciting player. and for nearly £30m it is a huge investment. He certainly cannot do any worse than balotelli that lazy donkey.

The only worry is that we seem to be paying a lot for him. And the mancs were only prepared to pay half that amount. None of the other top European clubs are fighting for his signature.

Fingers crossed it will be a good signing at last.

So why have milner then.... you think bayern and leverkusen have not trained the lad at all?

Or that Rodgers has any hope of training him at all....

He will need to be coached to play DM role - as you would expect anyone. But he seems far better suited to playing box to box and his style is what we need. We need a CM who can carry the ball from deep and give it to the attackers. Henderson, Allen certainly can't do that and I can't comment on Milner because he hasn't played their consistently in 5 years.

If it was a choice between Lucas and Can, then I'd pick Can. But I have no faith in Rodgers teaching any of our defensive players on how to defend - hopefully we get some quality coaches in.<ok>

Maybe if you hadn't come here to start wumming you wouldn't have got such reposes?

Firmino and one of either Illarramendi, Kovacic or Bacca and we have dramatically improved our options and squad. Good feeling about this signing

I've never heard of him before. None of the top clubs in Europe seemed to have shown any interest.

Has been one of the best players across the leagues over past 2 years.

Only hit the headlines recently because he made the national squad. Criminal that he wasn't picked to go to WC last year.

He's young so hopefully he'll also get better.

But at £29 million is he ever likely to increase his value?

Hell of a lot of money.

Gut says should have paid £15-20 million
