I can watch a film and read the subtitles at the same time. It's never stopped me from watching any film, so that's a yes.
You can look at 2 things at once? That makes you unique, do you have eyes on stalks?
Or are you just full of ****?

Shogun was an exception because I love Samurai related stuff - though I genuinely didn’t realise it was gonna be 80% Japanese, thought we might’ve had a “Last Samurai” style vibe <laugh>.

City of God can suck a fart.

Last samurai with Tom Cruise?

Probably one of the worst things i've ever seen.

It's one thing you imbecile. It's called a screen <laugh>

Why are you so angry? It's like everyone must like or do the things only you can otherwise you throw your toys out the pram. On a film thread ffs. Get a grip man.

lol, you can't focus on 2 different parts of the screen at the same time. You can keep saying you can all you like, you'll probably get a few idiots agree with you, but that's not how the occipital lobe functions.

Yeh sure mate, me and everyone else in the world who watch subtitled films without any problems whatsoever are all wrong and you who can't manage to look beyond 10% of the screen are right lol, gotcha.

The Green Mile 9.1/10

Well worth the late night.

Superb. No doubt Ern will tell me it's **** bcos, well, you know.

Any cùnt who can't watch a film and read subtitles at the same time is a fùcking *****.

Any cùnt who won't watch a film because it's in another language and has subtitles is also a fùcking *****.

Any cùnt who thinks it preferable to have a bunch of failed actors overdub a film than subtitles then, sorry cùnt, you're a *****.

Some of the best fillm ever made are foreign language. I listed just a few in the first couple of pages in this very thread as a retort to the threads OP complete *****ness and they were only films from the turn of the century.

It beggers belief that cùnts can come on this thread and claim to be film fans/buffs and then say they won't watch foreign films.

Same cùnts that go on holiday abroad and eat a full English every morning.

I'm only one episode in. I don't remember so much Japanese from the book... The book was mostly in English. :bandit:

So far, it looks good though.

Boys in the boat.

Joel Edgerton coaches some down and outs to Olympic gold.

Quite good tbf.

7/10

The Long game.

Dennis Quaid coaches some down and outs to Texas golfing elite.

It's OK tbf

6/10

Dark matter

Joel Edgerton again.

This time being all multiverse and that.

Brand new series that really starts very good.

Could be a cracker...cracker.

8/10

Ern's not listening mate ... he's put aside the evening to watch Kurosawa's epic Seven Samurai ... with voiceovers from Ray Winsron, Michael Caine, Danny Dyer and Julian Clary ...<whistle>
