Yeah, why as a standalone it is on a preliminary review of 5.5. will see how the other two films play out. Tbh i probably should rate it higher, i found it interesting

Dune movie finishes right at the part where it starts to get interesting in the book. They did quite well considering the part of the book they turned into the movie was just world building and exposition. <laugh>. The actual interesting plot happens after they stopped filming.

Discovered a gem of a series on Prime called The English Game. Binged in 3 nights 8.2/10

Based on the true story of how the Football Association, professional football and the FA Cup came to be what it is, back in the 1880's.

It's brilliantly made. All those things ppl consider to be the very worst traits of modern football are ironically highlighted as existing back then. It's very clever bcos you can see the comparisons. From the off.

nah, Ripley doesn't turn into a super ninja for the last 20 mins. From the moment she meets the French the film goes full woke trope, ruined it for me.

Tbh I thought the script had huge potential and in the hands of a master director like Ridley Scott could've been so much better.

Also think they miscast her and her brother. Neither looked like real red indians, both were far too hollywood.

Liked the ending then mate?

The ending was tying all the crazy **** together init so I kinda got why it was a bit slow compared to the rest of the series

Life caught up with Saul

did you expect him to go full Liam Neeson?

anyway

Watching breaking bad because I think watching it with the BCS knowledge
will make it a different experience to when I first watched it.
