$360m at the box office. <ok>

<laugh>

Ok I'll push the boat out a bit....

The Road (2009)
- Depressing as hell but by a country mile the most accurate portrayal of a post-apocalypse earth out there. Nothing else comes close to capturing the raw emotion, desperation and despair such an event would cause.
- Small cast, Viggo Mortensen is colossal in it.

Mr Nobody (2009)
- Made major losses at the box office but swept dozens of Indy festival awards.
- Mind-bending but layers of meaning are added with each viewing. And you'll need multiple viewings to understand what the hell is going on.
- Cinematically stunning and with a superb soundtrack.
- Jared Leto, Diane Kruger and Sarah Polley are immense.

Predestination (2015)
- Tanked at the box office.
- One of the best time-travel films out there imo. I'm generally not a fan of Ethan Hawke but he is so good in this.

Those are my initial 3.

I've seen Predestination, it's an excellent film if sometimes uncomfortable viewing.

Talking of Ethan Hawke, here's another which I think is underrated - Gattaca with Jude Law and Uma Thurman

Alright Sucky.

Strange that, I've heard rave reviews about it.

Same person that made Get Out has made this.
I thought get out was a load of bollocks too if that helps?

Honestly mate if i turned it on at home it would've been off after 15/20mins.

I told her to book free guy ffs<laugh><doh>

I actually agree about Get Out. Never got the big deal about it.

I went to see The Night House last week.

That was alright for the most part. Lots of suspense and creepy jump scenes, but the ending was pish.

The Suicide Squad was on, it was a toss up and the kids decided, but I might go watch that next. It's probably **** though.

Watched the Mule... Wasn't great but compared with the ****e suggested on here has to be considered a 5 out of 10 instead of the 4 I had planned

If we're going for underrated/ unknown gems, I'd recommend Kajaki on Netflix.

Based on a true story too about the Kajaki dam incident in Afghanistan involving British troops stumbling across a soviet minefield on their way to potentially engage the Taliban from a new vantage point.

Didn't know what to expect when I first watched, simply because I'd never heard of the movie nor knew about the real life event but was looking for something to watch and because I'd watched a few army films previously that popped up on recommendations, glad it did.

It's a solid 7.5/10 from me, possibly an 8 actually.

She had a sexy cameo in About Time.

And she's playing Barbie next <laugh>

Just catching Witness for the Prosecution on telly.

B&W Marlene Dietrich and Charles Laughton.

When you know you know.

Finished The Wire, one of the best series I’ve ever seen, the story lines and script writing were just different class.

So I’ve now started on another epic I’ve never seen a minute of - The Sopranos.
I watched the last episode of the Wire for the second time last night; Even better the second time round. Stunning series. Sopranos not quite as good, but still excellent <ok>
