I've seen Predestination, it's an excellent film if sometimes uncomfortable viewing.

Talking of Ethan Hawke, here's another which I think is underrated - Gattaca with Jude Law and Uma Thurman

 

Alright Sucky.

Strange that, I've heard rave reviews about it.

Same person that made Get Out has made this.

 

Not sure if this counts but i thought it was decent in my teens. Primal Fear with Richard Gear and Edward Norton.

 

That's a good film. Wasn't it Norton's first major role?

 

I thought get out was a load of bollocks too if that helps?

I actually agree about Get Out. Never got the big deal about it.

I went to see The Night House last week.

That was alright for the most part. Lots of suspense and creepy jump scenes, but the ending was pish.

The Suicide Squad was on, it was a toss up and the kids decided, but I might go watch that next. It's probably **** though.

 

Watched the Mule... Wasn't great but compared with the ****e suggested on here has to be considered a 5 out of 10 instead of the 4 I had planned

 

Becket on Netflix ... surprising little gem.

If we're going for underrated/ unknown gems, I'd recommend Kajaki on Netflix.

Based on a true story too about the Kajaki dam incident in Afghanistan involving British troops stumbling across a soviet minefield on their way to potentially engage the Taliban from a new vantage point.

Didn't know what to expect when I first watched, simply because I'd never heard of the movie nor knew about the real life event but was looking for something to watch and because I'd watched a few army films previously that popped up on recommendations, glad it did.

It's a solid 7.5/10 from me, possibly an 8 actually.

 

No mate ... set in Greece, black lad and his girlfriend on hols ... all goes tits up and he goes on the run ..

 

Suicide squad 2 ill have to watch again, i was smashed when she had it on last week.

Ill watch anything with that horny little blonde in anyway

I watched the last episode of the Wire for the second time last night; Even better the second time round. Stunning series. Sopranos not quite as good, but still excellent
