Isnt it 1917
World War 1
So on the trenches and a soldier is ordered to take a letter commanding the General stationed at another frontline to not send his troops over the trenches...since it's a trap...about a 9 mile trip this is
The film is about the journey. It's made in a way where the whole film is one scene...no cut scenes...tense...won't ruin it for ya
Sounds up my street bro, im not into big and loud so much when it comes to films, nothing beats a good story and some actual plot.Depends what you're looking for...it's not a constant blood bath...it's tense, psychological...perfect after a big phat one...gets you in the zone and the movie delivers
The fast n furious fanboy types might not get it
Yeah mate, you said 2017 haha.
I saw the trailer when I was last in the cinema, it looks ****ing class to be fair. I am gonna see it maybe this weekend.
@Suckmyklopp I agree about Dunkirk, the multiple timelines is classic Chris Nolan bullshit to try and make his film more artsy, it played absolutely no role in the narrative bar confusion. I felt the entire thing was more about showing off his talent with physical effects, so mostly a Nolan masturbation session.
just realised Thats what i found so odd about it, its the 1st Nolan movie i really didnt like, im a big fan of his films usually but dunkirk was just a bore fest.Yeah mate, you said 2017 haha.

Aye good film, like the end of it particularly, when shes old and throws the jewel in the sea.to this day, Titanic is the best historic retelling of an event. Even with all the gay romance elements.
James Cameron went ****ing deep into what happened on that ship, the timelines line up perfectly.
was a great film, bit ****ing long, but guess good films are long.to this day, Titanic is the best historic retelling of an event. Even with all the gay romance elements.

Hacksaw ridge is another movie i really enjoyed, mel Gibson does some good flicks tbh, apocalypto being one of them
Yeh hes done some really good movies tbfhe's an underrated director, he always smashes out hits. He's just a mentalist hahaha.

Surely that goes to Highlander?Bravehart is a good movie, I mean it's absolutely the worst historic film ever. Almost none of it is true.
But the soundtrack, the battle scenes, the ending, everything had me ****ing running around in me garden with a stick when I was a kid. It's a classic.
Surely that goes to Highlander?
Full Queen soundtrack, and it all fitted.Mate it's been so long since I watched Highlander I can't even remember anymore.
I remember Sean Connery looking like a right puff in that movie. Who decided he should have a pearl ****ing earring??
