I thought they were both excellent throughout

The only flaw I felt was that they made Jimmy out to be cocky, easy to make friends and easy to talk to. Egerton didn't come across like that imo. We had to be told a few times by other characters that was his quality. It probably was the case with the real Jimmy but not Egerton.

Yeah different opinion, I thought Hauser lost his creepy edge as it went on and that the transition was just not subtle enough from Egerton so that it seemed rushed in the last few episodes. Like I said though picky as it's a great show.

Redemption at last, we all love Saul but remember Jimmy as the more innocent version tainted by the life he's had. If you rewatch BB you'll realise how unlikeable Saul is there are certainly 2 versions of the character in the 2 shows it isn't as seamless as the show makers would have you think. Jimmy was a good person ruined by the world around him and Kim could not forgive him as he fully transformed into Saul even though she was partly responsible by leaving him and not understanding that they were not toxic together and that she was his only anchor to reality. Great ending imo and one of the truly great TV shows.

That’s a very long winded way of saying it was a boring ending mate.

I think the woke is to signify being aware on matters of injustices from a majority group to a minority group (typically white to anyone else, makes vs females etc). In reality i think woke falls into two categories, the meaning i put above vs what is being more known as a big overreaction to any perceived injustice.

examples of the latter woke would include :

- thinking there is injustice if an actors playing in different roles and overlooking of a minority actors e.g. if a white man was to play a historical black man or a women in a trans role and overlooking a trans actor
- Letting trans people play sport with their own "gender"
- Thinking it's racist if a white person was to get braids in their hair for cultural appropriation of a black person or if a white girl was to wear a kimono (not their culture)
