Just ordered it .

 

There are three books, bit of an Odyssey.

This is the first one though, so best place to start and be prepared for the long haul.

 

Bruised

Halle Berry stars and directs this Rockyesque, cliché driven fight movie.

Tbh it's not that bad. Big licks to Berry, she's in her 50s and does some serious shifts.

Decent way to spend a hour and a half or however long it lasts. There's some dyke action in there as well that's worth an extra point.

I don't do all that token looker stuff in films.. It doesn't fool me

 

Very good I thought. Particularly the way many of the main characters suddenly change half way through the series.

Leaves it open to bring them back in a 2nd series.

 

The Assassanation of Jesse James by the Coward Bob Ford.

Tremendous.

The tension throughout is built up superbly. There are times you can sense what's going to happen but you don't know how or when.

Pitt, Affleck, Rockwell

 

now thats a film i must see on the big screen .

note to self : don't forget your raincoat

 

I sat watching that and all I wanted the film to do was get to the important bit at the end.
It's like Titanic, never watched it 'cos I already know the ending.

 

Rockwell is such an under-rated actor imo.

last hour of titanic is worth a watch, the rest of it, meh.

 

There are lots of reasons never to watch Titanic

With this film though I liked the way the double cross, paranoia and suspicion grew between all of them.

 

Gay gay gay sounds gay

 

Rockwell is a fantastic actor and is excellent in just about everything he's in. Especially 3 billboards.

 

You should save that for when they do a film about you

 

Afleck is another who's pretty excellent all the time. Gone Baby Gone is one of his best.
