I have to disagree Gonzo. The only power this dog has is to bore the tits off you. Hats off to Cinematographer though and the New Zealand landscape. What was happening in the background was far more interesting than what was slogging along in the foreground.

Tbf to Gonzo it is a really beautiful movie and the cast do an alright job but it's just turgid.

Not a patch on Jesse James or Slow West even.

    Wheel of time

Amazon's answer to GOT and The Witcher.
It's pretty terrible tbh. Powder puff plotlines and wooden actors.

I have watched 3 episodes. Don't think I'll bother with anymore.

Gives us some decent meaty fantasy like the First law you dozy cùnts.

I loved both of those films but also loved Dog though Cumberpatch was brilliant in it and I liked the story.

I have to say that this film is the first time Cumberbum has actually grated on me. I got fed up with his performance very early on. Maybe that's what gave me a downer on the whole film.

Jesse Plemons was excellent though. Mind you he normally is.

Have any of you seen the film THE EDGE ?

It’s the story of the England test squad from 2009 - 2013.

    I highly recommend it

Just finished The Power Of The Dog.

Not the best. Very slow and not much happens.

Started Dopesick, it's on Disney. True story about the Oxy drug in the US. First 2 episodes are really good.

Can only assume that this is not based on the book by Don Winslow of the same name?!?
