Is won by DONALD J TRUMP.

Excuse me if I puke up in the corner.

.....and I thought this was next years World Cup draw.....we might get around in awhile to some FOOTBALL .

The programme has been on for an hour and we are no nearer knowing who is playing who....
But we do have a nice dolly bird presenting which takes away some of the boredom.

What a.complete farce. God help us.

So as I understand it, we’re on the West Coast, which rather like the recent Las Vegas Grand Prix, means getting up in the dark.

A least F1 takes place over a weekend. This will presumably include mid-week matches.

Good to see Cape Verde in the greatest football competition in the world. Their population is almost identical to my homeland, Cornwall and just twice that of Plymouth. Still, it’s a vote on the Presidency isn’t it?

I have to admit that over a short period of time I have lost a lot of interest in next years farce. The organisation of it is crap. The time of games will be crap. Trump being anywhere near it is crap. The number of teams involved is crap.

Even finished off the afternoon with Trumps favourite song....to keep him happy.

KGB Putin must think what an easy ride this is.....I'll just continue turning Ukraine to rubble....while Trump prances around the stage like a teenager.

I just keep repeating to myself that I shouldn't worry I'm at the wrong end of my life. What is the use of US gun laws when nobody uses one in the right place.

NEUTRALITY RULES BREACHED ?

FIFA ethics committee has been asked to investigate President Gianni Infantino.....claiming he broke the governing body's rules on political neutrality in relation to US President Donald Trump.

Infantino awarded Trump with the inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at the 2026 World Cup Draw in Washington DC last week....and also done social media posts and interviews in support of the 79 year old.

Human rights campaign group FairSquare has written a letter of complaint ....which BBC Sport has seen ....alleging Infantino has "committed four clear breaches" of FIFA's neutrality rules.

BBC SPORTS NEWS.....Wednesday 10th December 2025.

PS.......For goodness sake Donald keep those brown envelopes out of sight at the moment......mustn't muddy the water around the name of Gianni at the moment.

There was a piece on the BBC news this morning: there are a tiny number of the "cheap" seats available too, high up in the corners of the stadia.

It's as one British fan said: "It's not right to have a bunch of rich posers behind the goals. That's where the real fans go and the Yanks had better get that". Very succinct and to the point.

I doubt they will. Trump will probably want to take the kick-off in the first game. That's the sort of thing they do.

Yeh i know i have been to a few MLS games Miammi and ny Redbulls absolute full of hype and bull **** with crap football but i had to go to see how bad it was.. i hope to try a saudi game soon .. se how that compares to the national league

Supporters hoping to attend next years World Cup Final face paying thousands of pounds for the cheapest tickets.

Fans' group... Football Supporters Europe... has said it is "astonished" by FIFAs' "extortionate" pricing strategy...and called for ticket sales to be "halted immediately" .....FIFA have not yet commented on its pricing decision.

BBC Sport understand tickets for the final at MetLife Stadium,New York are in three tiers.

1....."Supporters Value Tier" at £3,119 per seat.
2....."Supporters Standard Tier" at £4,162 per seat.
3....."Supporters Premium Tier" at £6,615 per seat.

Tickets to FIFA's showpiece event are as high as much as seven times more expensive than the 2022 World Cup in Qatar...with the lowest price tickets at that event costing £450.

BBC Sport News... Thursday 11/12/2025.

I expect Donald Trump will see the Final free of course.

With the costs of seeing this and the travel requirements before you can enter I would love to see people boycott going at all and for it to be a financial disaster. Even more I would love a shed load of Countries to boycott the competition altogether and not even turn up. Fat chance I know. But imagine Trump exploding with fury, it would be worth not having a World Cup just for that alone.

Well the other thing is that Trump intends is that anyone requiring a visa for any reason will need to provide 5 years' of social media history. He's obviously looking for anyone that's said anything bad about him. I'm reckoning that probably covers about 75% of the world's population.

I'm not sure if that will affect anyone going to the World Cup: depends how long they're staying perhaps. Can you imagine paying for those tickets and then not being allowed in for some offhand remark about unduly orange people?

I have been on holiday to the States: I don't remember having to get visas.

It was the social media history I was referring to notdistant. I agree he will be looking out for anyone who has criticised. It's the reason I want to see the whole thing go tits up for them and see who gets the blame this time. I have never been to the US even though I had the chance to whilst in the RN and that would have been a several month visit. I declined the chance and if honest wouldn't go there if you paid me.
