With FFP down the toilet and the spending power that City and Chelsea are showing and what we all know they can do with their money, and with Utd's debt and this share thing which will fail I honestly believe Utd's dominance is finsihed.

This new era will be all about City vs Chelsea mark my words and the rest fight for the scraps leftover.

No-one has the power that Chelsea and City are demonstrating.

Down the toilet eh.

Here is some very very important information for you and any fan of a club who thinks FFP wont work.

You dont have any right to play in europe, you are invited. There is no legal grounds to challenge uefas right to exclude a team from its competition.

If you dont meet the regulations you will not be allowed to take part.

Uefa risks losing the support of all clubs by not acting, bayern munichs owner told them they will make sure Uefa acts. Clubs hold the power, none of the money clubs have any power.

One mans nonsense is another mans fact...
When we take the tinted specs off, we're all the same really...
But to confirm, we're better than you! (said with tinted shades on, its sunny outside!)

Yep, thread started over nonsense, corrected by fact.

Well summed up <ok>

Are owners not allowed to take money from their business, football aside whats wrong with a business owner making money from their business.

<laugh>

Now you're joking, right?

Juggle all the figures you like but the fact remains that the Glazers have took the maximum possible out of Utd and left the playing side of their franchise with enough money to function and for a 'marquee' signing every now and again.
Only that Utd have a good youth set up and brought them into the mix with success have you not been caught out.

Gone are the days when top players would jump at the chance of joining Utd and accepting what they had to offer without question, as proved by the City 'revolution' wages are top of 'all' players agenda these days end of.

None of what you put there is true, none of it.

Especially the second paragraph, big names have always turned us down.

Ooo clever.

Liverpool and the word 'fact'

nah, they just dont go. Blame some fat spanish ****

Start taking notes, a trait one may not be familiar with, “The ability of a supporter of one team to agree with a statement (won't say that word) made by a supporter of another”

But I agree with you, Rafa's rant, wasn't one of his best moments, what with his role as the panto villain already etched in the thoughts and minds of our lovely press/media, he was never really going to get away with his comments aimed at the damsel in distress played by Sir Purple Nose!

So if the part about the Glazers wasn't true would Utd still have the massive debt under the previous owners and how did one of the richest clubs in the world manage to accrue so much debt?

big names have turned you down because you're not prepared to pay the going rate in wages, even Rooney reduced Ferguson to tears when he proved to him that he either gets what he(in his own opinion)is worth or he's off across the town to City and through gritted teeth Fergie gave into player greed.

First off, reports closer to United than the ****ing redtops state he signed the exact same contract he was offered. He wanted assurances we would be signing players.

Secondly the Plc was holding us back, increasing ticket prices at a much higher rate and also getting on SAF tits. They were a problem for many reasons.

also, go check the IPO thread on the united.

'reports closer to United', That's called manipulative positive club spin.

It matters not what got on Fergie's tits or not because he doesn't own the club.

Why would i go on a United forum when i can get information from reputable financial company websites.

Should of said United board and Reuters are pretty reputable, equally if not more so than any financial company or newspaper.

The reports from the club are likely to be far more accurate that that of some gimp reporter, you know that, I know that.

Basically the IPO is oversold and investors view United as a media company with a massive audience.

Since Rooney ranted about wanting those big players at Manchester United. How many big players have you actually signed? From what I can make out, none. Phil Jones was in a bottom 3 standard team. De Gea was playing for the 10th best team in Spain and Young was playing for mid-table Aston Villa. That standard of player, you would have expected Liverpool to sign as they are in the europa league, but not champions league standard Manchester United.

Rooney threw his toys out of his pram for a pay-rise, and he got it. The bully finally got bullied.

Gaf, your thread....

Fergies a hypocrite, hes done it before, how dare he question other clubs doing it.

Wrong?

you can dress it up as you want, it was another tired old boring anti united rant.
Not quite sure what you're saying here. Are you agreeing that he's a hypocrite? That he's wrong? Also, like I said before, in the OP, I was merely quoting Ferguson, and pointing out his hypocrisy. Not ranting.
