I'm pretty sure if you ask most fans, they'll tell you that the big four get an unfair share of decisions their way.

To be fair Ferguson, in my opinion, was right to be angry at some of the refs decisions last night. But because he has such a long history of totally biased denials regarding decisions given against your club, or not (as Beatski has stated in the above reply), every decision he queries or complains about is going to reek of hypocrisy and create derision from opposing fans. Why? because everything single thing he says is stated from a totally biased Man U perspective. Would it hurt him to say something like "Yeah we got away with that" or "the ref was wrong on that occasion they should have had a penalty". Other managers do it and it doesn't hurt them.

Fair enough but please forgive me for not accepting what other fans think is true if it does not bear out statistics. I've read the argument that the top 4 sides have more possession and therefore attack more often so it stands to reason (perhaps) that they get into positions were contentious decisions are more likely to arise. I cant argue on behalf of other teams in the top 4 but as a Man Utd fan, I can assure you we get some howlers given against us.

I accept that and it would be nice to see him admit when something has gone our way.

Whilst I read that he congratulates teams behind closed doors, he doesn't give an inch to the press or journalists. I think that given the exceptional length of time he has been in the job, he has a longer history than most that can be thrown in his face and plenty of his own axes to bear against the media.
