One of the boozers down at Spurs were selling cans - yes cans! - of Stowford on a matchday for £4.50 while pints of beer/ cider were going for £5.50. Since the new stadium opening, it’ms been well documented that they’re losing out on loads of business as the new stadium is selling most pints for £4.
Yeah that'sa bit steep !
£4 in the stadium is decent though !

Watch out on the Rattler though, proper ****s you up. Drank about 10 of them in cornwall once and woke up in a sand dune 50m from my hotel.

I had been in the hotel bar most of the evening so **** knows how I ended up where I woke up

The best ones are from the micro breweries and not the mass produced places.

To be fair, my favourite mass produced beers are;

Brew Dog - Dead Pony Club
Skinners - Betty Stogs
Wadworth - Bishops Tipple
There's a few around most places now
Atom in Hull is great and one Called Great Newsone east riding do a great stout.

Don't mind Stowford, becomes a bit acidic after a few though. Symonds the worst for that though, literally feels like you are drinking acid after a pint and a half.

There are lots of good/great ciders around so it is why it always surprises me how popular Strongbow is around the country, I do live in cider hotspot though so am probably spoilt for choice.
Addlestones cloudy cider everyday, not found one to equal it in 20 years.

Yeah I can't drink to many usually a couple get acid !

I drank gallons of cheap ****e cider when I was a teenager as it was the cheapest thing to get you pissed. Then in my Student days I used to see a girl from Hereford area, which is prime Scrumpy land. Used to drink at a pub that served proper cloudy scrumpy, that stuff was so strong and I spent most of my Uni days pissed up and frolicking with her instead of studying.

Nowdays though, Cider just turns my stomach. It's so sweet and acidic I can't handle it.

living in Calpe, earning **** all we were drinking Don Garcia, cheap knock-off Don simon, (which is cheap **** anyway). It was 11p a litre, tasted ok when it was close to freezing and you couldn't really taste it, but taste wasn't the point.

I used to make wine as a student too. Made some nice Damson wine to start with and then just started experimenting with any old **** I could find to turn it into alcohol. Made some dandilion wine once, flowers, petals, stalks, leaves and everything. Chucked loads of sugar in there too and made the most disgusting wine/liquor ever. It was ****ing rank, but I could't chuck it away. I had 3 gallons of the stuff too. Spent the next year drinking that **** with mates and getting out of my skull on it <laugh>

Don’t really like lager. If it’s a hot day would drink it but no expert on it. Would quite happily drink fosters if it’s hot. Hate those amercan ****ty lagers. All too hoppy and flowery. In Spain I like the green estrella or the estrella Galicia on drought. Heineken, If I fancy a lager and pop to the shop will either buy red stripe or kronenbourg.

My favourite ale is bathams but unless you live in the west mids you’ll never drink it. Am quite happy with bankss bitter. Timothy Taylor landlord is excellent. I prefer a golden ale, hate pale ale. Though I can’t drink it anymore as have to drink Guinness now as it doesn’t **** my stomach up.
