I stand corrected! I'm looking forward to that! My wallet isn't, though. What next - Dennis back on drums (arguably people might not notice the difference!)? Money, eh? First it destroys people's relationships, then patches it nicely all back up again! Brian Wilson back in the Beach Boys, Puncheon back with the first team. When's the Suarez and Evra civil partnership?
The stones, Paul Weller, BeeGees, Clapton,Led Zep, Who, Police, Queen, The Floyd, Oasis and Stereo phonics. All of these have made some of the best albums ever released and in a few cases some of the best live music I have ever seen.
Stereophonics made one of the best albums ever released? I refuse to believe that.
The rest are pretty good, other than Oasis who I despise.

Oasis are my all time favourite (getting ready for the hate!) however now it's Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds 
i also love The Beatles, The Who, Nickelback and Maroon 5. Quite varied I know.
I also like a guy called Ben Montague, who is very talented and I hope he makes it big someday. Just hurts me to think that there's so much unheard talent and we are all left listening to crap like lady Gaga and Justin Bieber

I'd say, like with any popular culture medium, there are aspects of both subjectivity and objectivity to what makes good music, which is why there is usually a general consensus between critics as to what the best albums/songs of any given year are.
I feel there is an objective element as well though, largely determined by how hard an artist/band works on their album and whether they tick all the boxes of what makes good music in their particular genre. I'd say most albums contain a bit of filler, because the band will have worked harder on some tracks than on others, focusing on the potential singles and just filling the rest of the album with mediocre songs they wrote in 10 minutes. This is pretty much how I feel about Stereophonics' albums and plenty of others such as Sum41's "All Killer No Filler" which ironically was made up of "Fat Lip" and then a load of filler.
I can even say this about bands that I love such as Nine Inch Nails, who I believe never really made a truly great album. On the other hand, I believe there are truly great albums which are unquestionably great, whether you're personally into that kind of music or not. Dark Side of the Moon, Abbey Road, Led Zeppelin IV, OK Computer, Master of Puppets...etc. It is my opinion that, even if you like Bieber and think the aforementioned albums are crap and just noise, they are truly great albums and if you disagree you're just plain wrong.
