    I just remember seeing a doc about them years ago, motor engine blades cut them up bad, jetski's etc.

    No you are right, we used to have to tell the boats coming in to cut their engine.

    Like an axelotl too. Inject them with iodine and they'll change into a salamander.

    They had koala bear for sale there. A non-native species, someone must have seen one on the telly and had some menu ideas.

    my daughters made us to drive to Homosassa Springs to see the Manatees.

    Well worth it as they are a beautiful animal, and are still at risk of extinction as not protected.

    I am signed up to save the manatee.com and donate yearly

    One of the funniest things i ever seen was a squirrel being chased by a cat, they ran across the road in front of me causing me to stop, onto a patch of grass with several trees on it.
    The squirrel ran past the first tree then as the cat got close backflipped into the lower branches whilst still running, the cat stopped dead, looked around like "where'd it go, where the **** did it go?". it sniffed around a bit then sulked off totally embarrassed.
