He’s investing in a share in a corporate entity. How the hell can a democratic entity be led by the largest shareholder. I know all parties are imperfect but if people buy into this ****, and theres plenty on here that do, they are lambs to the slaughter.Because no one, including Farage, know what Reform's policies are it's just like Musk buying a huge part of the electorate.
But what what happen to all that money if Musk donates it then Farage and Tice close it down and start yet another new party? Obviously Reform would be totally finished, as it doesn't really exist in the first place, but the money would have to go somewhere.

The very same ones that say we got back sovereignty from Brexit, would be supporters of a party possibly "owned" by a US based South African billionaireHe’s investing in a share in a corporate entity. I know Musk and all the largely right wing press are hammering Labour, but the fact that they are pissing that lot off makes me think they might be doing some good for the actual people of Britain![]()
Musk hates socialist run countries because he doesn't like paying tax. For ****s sake the man is worth 416 billion. I pay a percentage of my income in taxes so why should he be any different? But he is not the problem, it's the halfwit "peasants" who agree with him, Trump and Farage on sershal meejaI know Musk and all the largely right wing press are hammering Labour, but the fact that they are pissing that lot off makes me think they might be doing some good for the actual people of Britain![]()
They won by over 14,000 votes if you use the last vote at the general election as the starting point.I'm still not convinced there is some sea change in politics Farage would have us believe... Mid term elections are frequently weird going back to the SDP ( whatever happened to them).... They won by 6 votes...after a full recount, which means they have 5 MP's.
I acknowledge that Labour and Tories need to keep an eye.....but right now, I don't lose sleep over the thought that Farage who in my opinion is a political opportunist will ever become PM or anywhere near power in the UK
Sorry mate, this result represents only a swing of 17% from Labour to Reform....this doesn't even rank in the top 50 of by elections... Yes its a good result for Farage, but in isolation it doesn't mean we are witnessing anything special... because of social media, it feels like that.... but it isn'tThey won by over 14,000 votes if you use the last vote at the general election as the starting point.

I honestly think there is! An MP assaults a member of the public and is completely exonerated, a women puts somethong on facebook for a couple of hours and is jailed for 31 months and is not let out, for visitation because she will attract too much media attentionThere's no such thing as two tier justice ...
... thankfully our politicians aren't the boss of the judiciary.
