Slightly off topic to to FF but what is the better business.
Keeping our star players and getting them to sign new long term contracts while getting rid of a lot of deadwood and bringing in some encouraging younger players.
Or, losing your 2 star midfielders, but doing lots of business on deadline day and replacing them with 2 players of lesser quality.
One apparently had a poor deadline day (which somehow means a poor transfer window even though it lasts 2 months) and the other having what some are saying is "the best deadline day from their signings" even though they lost 2 of their best players.
I think you already know the answer to that, Gareth Bale now kicking himself for signing a new contract....
