I think you already know the answer to that, Gareth Bale now kicking himself for signing a new contract....
I removed Yaya for Michu. I got a bit of money in my bank. Not sure who to spend it on. Scoring defender maybe?
Y.toure is my captain and got Silva as well. Hoping for a high scoring draw for City with both Toure & Silva getting goals/assists.
I know, I brought Zabaleta in for A Cole this week because Chelsea weren't playing. Clishy hasn't started since week 1. Might trade him back in for Cole. Or do I go for Cahill? He scores goals but unlikely to start as much as Cole. Hmmmm
For me I'd rather be in Spurs' position. They've replaced Van der Vaart with a younger version in Sigurdsson. Dembele is a little downgrade on Modric but he's still a class player. They've tied up Adebayor who scored 17 goals last season and added Dempsey to the team who got 17 goals last season. Also signed a world class goalie in Lloris to replace Friedel and one of the most sought after centre backs from Ajax to replace with King. Thing with Spurs is they've replaced everyone thats left them, and now probably have a stronger squad overall. We've improved in central midfield but have gotten weaker upfront and on the wings.
True, however they have lost/replaced a lot of players in the space of a few moths along with having a new manager and playing a new style with the new players. Fickle fans who are already getting on the managers back after 2 draws and 1 defeat in their first 3 games. I don't rate Lloris either after seeing him at Euro's. Looked shaky on crosses and looks like another De Gea, small frame and doesn't dominate his area in the same way someone like Friedel does. Their defence has no cover either. They don't have another left back is BAE gets injured, no other right back if Walker gets injured and their other CB is Dawson who they were tying to sell (try and keep him motivated). Adebayor seems to do well at the start for new clubs but then drifts off a bit - be interesting to see if he kicks on again this year or if he goes quite - but Spurs also only have 2 forwards, the same as us.
Need some big performances off of Cabaye, Colo, and Suarez tomorrow as well. Still have Lampard and Cole on the bench to come in and I think they will have a double week coming up soon.
You missed their double week - that was the first wee when they had Newcastle & Reading in the space of a few days.
