2,800 at £30 a seat = £84k. We are getting about 10,000 home fans now, add in the possibility of a new owners by then, plus a Premier League side at home just after Christmas, maybe add 5,000 to that then the away support, full allocation taken, 3,000 plus ? My guess would have been a gate of 18/20,000. Live on the BBC ? Lucky to get 15,000 ? So debateable. Probably save a few bob on police costs.

It will be nowhere near £30 a ticket, we don't charge much for cup games.

Chelsea was £12 for adult and senior members, and £6 for all supporters aged 22 and under and that was televised as well.

It maybe wouldn't but you do not know that seeing as no decision has been made yet.
I will be there anyhow, live on telly or not. From a personal point of view I would sooner it was not shown live on the BBC simply because we would have got a decent gate for Everton at home.
£85k in the pocket up front ? Save on stewarding and police bills ? As I said debatable.

Save a few bob on police costs? This is Everton and they had a handy mob down the years, no away fans ever went in the Gwladys Street End, so there will be a major turn out just in case.

Reactions: Trumpton Tiger.
Due to the covid concerns, if the game ends in a draw after 90mins, does it go straight to extra time, then penalties?
