FA Cup Weekend

That video was so clearly wrong that the user took it down! <laugh>

The video was probably removed due to copyright infringement. It's simply a replay of the penalty incident. Which the ref got wrong.

Here's another one, from 26 seconds. Clearly his hand only makes contact with the ball because he's spinning round and changing direction to run the other way. No intent, arm in a natural position, no penalty.

Arm in a natural position? For what? Doing an impression of a plane?
He looks at the ball and then flaps at it with his arm. He's looking at the ball as he touches it.

Arm in a natural position for turning around and running in the opposite direction.

Of course he's looking at the ball, it's what footballers do <ok>

Nobody runs with their arms at shoulder height. It's utterly unnatural.

So you admit that he's looking directly at the ball that you think he has no idea about the location of? How thick do you think he is?

His arms are in a completely natural position relating to his body movement, spinning around to change direction. It's obvious.

What are you going on about saying that I think he has no idea of the location of the ball ?

It's not obvious, it's wrong. He looks at the ball, then he extends his arm a bit and touches it. That's obvious.
If you think that he knows where the ball is and then puts his arm out, then how the hell is that not intentional?

No it's obvious. Any footballer spinning around, and then running in the opposite direction, will adopt this body stance.
His arm was moving in that direction because that's the way the force of his movement took it. It doesn't matter if he's looking at the ball or not, it's about the natural movement of his arm, which was moving in that direction anyway.

Not intentional, no penalty. Wrong decision.

This is just nonsense. Sorry.
He clearly flicks out his hand at the ball. It's nothing to do with the way that he's running and your own clip shows that.
He could have caught it and ran out of the ground with the thing and you wouldn't admit it though, so this is a waste of time.

Don't be silly. The clip I've shown, clearly demonstrates that his arm is in a natural position and he only touches the ball due to the movement of him changing direction. I can see that you're entrenched in your view though, despite barely anybody else agreeing with it. So we're going to have to leave it at you convincing yourself that you're right, even though you're wrong <ok>

You thought that Ake's red card against us shouldn't have been given. You see what you want to see.
If that had been against your lot, then you'd be calling for hanging to be brought back.

I didn't say that, I said it was 'harsh' not wrong :)
Likewise if that penalty had been given against you, you'd be the first on here screaming blue murder.
Or changing your name to PleaseNotMaddeley <laugh>

How was it harsh, Blinkers?
Studs up, straight legged and into the players thigh. It's a textbook red card.
Ighalo's whack into Tom Carroll's face should also have been a red.

You also thought that Southampton had 82 incorrectly given goals against you and that every foul you receive should be a dismissal.
Ludicrous stuff.

What the **** are you blathering on about now ? <laugh>

None of this nonsense changes the fact that the ref got the penalty decision wrong in your game against Leicester

I'm demonstrating your history of being utterly biased about refereeing decisions.
You clearly can't keep a clear head when it comes to them and your opinion should be dismissed as the ranting of a loon.
