FA Cup Weekend

It's still not parking the bus though if they attacked enough to have ten shots and five corners. As someone mentioned, they've scored loads of goals and were top of the league until recently with probably a bottom half budget so you can't really knock it. I certainly wouldn't say they're a boring team to watch.

I'm not a Leicester fan, so I don't watch their games. I can only go on the evidence of what I saw yesterday, and from highlights of their other games.

Yes, they play a counter attacking game, just they didn't do much of it yesterday. 10 shots maybe, but they still spent three quarters of the game parked in their own half.

Maybe I'm biased, but it's not my kind of football. We are, at last, playing the type of football I and most other Spurs fans want to see. We attack, home or away. Maybe that's a tad naive, but I'd rather watch that than this stick two banks of four in your own half and try to hit on the break stuff.

And yet they've been consistently higher in the table in their first season back in the Prem compared to upper mid Spuds.

They've been consistently higher in the table than everyone.
That doesn't mean that they play the most attractive football in the division, does it?

They were ahead for half the game away to a supposedly superior team so it's understandable to sit back. Even when drawing, the reward for holding onto it is worth it more than doing so in a league game. They've scored and conceded more than most teams. In fact there have been more goals in Leicester games than any other team except Everton, so there games have presumably been quite entertaining and not defensive. Perhaps they were giving Spurs too much respect.

Yeah, whatever. You don't seem to have read a word I've written.

If you look at their away record, it's quite a bit better than their home record where the onus is on them to come out and attack.

I read every word. If they've scored 37 and conceded 25 while just sitting back then they must be pretty crap at defending and bloody brilliant in their few attacks. Or, more likely, they did the sensible thing away from home for 40 minutes against what is meant to be a stronger team. You can't knock the tactics as they were barely troubled after going ahead. Did Schmeichel make any good saves?

Once again!! When a reasonably well organised side sits in their own half with 9-10 men behind the ball, it's not easy to break that down. And probably yes, it's something we need to work on.

Obviously, it's been successful for them - so far, as their position attests. However, that doesn't mean I, or many others, have to like watching it!

I doubt they care. Their own fans love it.

Anyway, if you go 1-0 up at City with 40 minutes to go, how do you expect you'll set up?

If our past games are anything to go by, we'll continue to attack. 1-0 is never safe, as we've learned to our cost in previous seasons.

..as I posted earlier..we have more points than anyone away from home and have scored more goals than anyone ..not bad for a negative team eh? ..you are starting to lose your credibility buddy .. sour grapes have nothing on sour spuds :) .. No 'maybe' about your bias ..

Yes, you have a better away record because of your counter attacking game. You don't do so well at home where more of the onus is one you to attack.

What sour grapes, and why?? Season is a long way from over yet.

What, only one smilie??

..no we are complete ****e at home having lost the once .. to an excellent team from North London .. you'll know who they are ... they've denied you sunlight for so long now :)

grammar Fetlock :)

Couldn't give a **** about grammar, don't you worry about it either <OK>

So why you pulling someone up on being biased and them losing their credibility(according to you) when you are at the very least just as biased and certainly blinkered.

And this tame name calling.....lol bless...I've noticed that about you.....when people don't agree you start to put them down on a personal level.

Try not to strangle yourself with your cardigan when you get in a fluster so much.

:)

One day you might learn to write something that addressees the points made. Mind you, if they took your little smilies away you'd probably be struck illiterate.

I didn't say that your home record was bad, merely that your away record is better, reflecting your style of play.

You lot won't be around long enough to be in anybody's shadow. You have to be close to be in a shadow!

..one day you might do some research rather than continually bleating from Spain? ..we've played 4-4-2 all season with speedy counter attacking flair that has made us the darlings of the press and neutrals .. yet all you can bleat on about is that your bunch of wannabe Arsenal types couldn't break down our reserve defence .. title challengers? ..keep tilting at those windmills Quixote ..and perhaps go on a crusade against the nasty smilies?
