Wow, the ref has just given Spurs a get out of jail card with that call. Terrible decision.
It was clear handball! Good spot from the ref.
It was.
He wasn't even looking at the ball, he was turning around and the momentum of his arm meant that his hand touched the ball. Nonsense. It's a clear handball. You got lucky, big time.

No idea how the ref gives it, to be honest, as he can't see the ball. He was right, though.

We stay in the cup and it pisses you off...win win in my book
I think it was a very harsh decision but glad we are still in the cup

Blinkered, but to be expected I suppose.

And, of course, your view is completely unbiased?![]()
Harsh doesn't mean wrong.Don't just take my word for it, even your fellow spuds agree it was a very harsh decision.

I'd just like to know how he came to his decision. He clearly couldn't see it. Telepathy, perhaps? Dyer knew he handballed it....
It's intentional. I've no idea why everyone's ignoring the interpretation that the refs use for this.Wrong on both counts then. Not intentional and the ref didn't clearly see it.

His arm's in an unnatural position and blocks the ball. That's "intentional" for the sake of the rules, even if you don't think that he meant it.
Given that he looked right at the bloody thing as his arm came across, I'm not sure how relevant it is, though.
The ref doesn't have to see something happen to give a decision, either.
His assistants could've given him the call or he could've noted the arm movement and the way that the ball reacted, though that's a bit dodgy.
Wow.
