You should know Rafa doesn’t do the figures that’s Penfold/Ashley’s ball park.Its cheaper to pay 5m and signing fee than keep someone who left on a free? He was on 35k a week in 2016 supposedly Anita. Unless Manquillo is earning buttons I don't think this would be right.

You do realise if they both get similar wages, both get a signing on fee, but one costs a fee, the latter is probably more expensive.

I think you're looking back at Anita through midget tinted glasses... but I agree with your overall point about the quality of the replacements. Reallistically, getting rid of Anita was a good call, and replacing him with someone younger, who can speak Spanish for the pittance we have to spend probably makes some kind of sense though.
I'm sure he'll prove equally useful in the championship next year. 40 year old Danny Devito probably wouldn't.

Don't get me wrong Anita wasn't good. He was better than this ****stain though, probably at a similar wage/signing fee level, and didn't cost 4.5m. Speaks spanish though like you say so Rafa can tell him what to do easier. Then watch him fail to do it.
