Hopefully Deeney will not be unfairly targeted on the pitch by any Wolves players when we meet shortly. I would hate him to miss the cup final through injury. He actually enjoys the opposing fans calling him names and booing him.

Re the mask, Wolves fans and Mexican supporters should listen to the whole interview and definitly not read the Birmingham Mail which before and after could be blaimed for insitement due to manipulating the truth. If you listen through you here him give high praise to the striker, not slag him off.

It's not the players... recent events show that it is the fans that pose a danger to player safety.

28,000 allocation for both teams and we have been given the west end of the ground for the final, apparently game will kick off at 5pm on 18th of May.

Think there is a £25 reduction for concessions in cat 1&2 and a £10 reduction in cat 3&4. Means the same seats as the semi for me and my son will be £205 plus booking fees etc so will be almost £215 <yikes>

I guess so it does not clash with EPL 3pm kick offs?

  9. No - that finishes the Sunday before. God knows why - it's ridiculous to expect we'll all be able to stay sober till that time. Especially our poor friends in France, Spain and Germany who will have to wait till 6PM their time <yikes>

I have parked at the stadium before but last time I parked in a school near the ground, I don't think it was too dear.

Yet again a nightmare for anyone coming down by train. Last train out of Euston for Manchester (and for me via a change to get to Stoke) is 2100. If it goes to extra time - we are good at that - then no chance to celebrate winning. Bah!

What with knocking Fulham out of the prem, and Wolves out of the Cup, we could make it a good week by knocking The Arse out of a Champions league place. We are becoming bully boys! (Although letting Manure into it doesn't sit too well with me)

I'm going clay pigeon shooting in the morning, part of a friends 50 celebrations. Gives me plenty of time to get back, changed and out again. Totally kyboshed the evening dinner plans. 3:00pm ko is what it should be.

Pretty sure he won't be. We don't really have any players like that and a player like Denney who gets stuck and tells it as it is, is exactly the sort of player that we have been lacking the last couple of seasons.

Looking at the highlights, (from Watford fc) I couldn't work out why we won. It seemed that wolves were so superior. I had noticed in the game that wolves relied on long passes and set pieces, and I assumed that a) part of our plan worked & b) our notoriety at set pieces was the Wolves thinking and we encouraged it.
However, this analysis - even if a bit OTT - really cheered me up. Now we know why we are where we are, with a good but not brilliant set of players, a couple of matchwinners, and 2 hot and cold geniuses ! Who knew Pereyra could ever mark somebody ?! Who knew we would be that fit. ?! GT must be talking to JG from on high! The team spirit is pure GT. The baton has been truly passed on.

I will be in Spain for a birthday celebration so 6pm is not a good time for me, if I can find a telly to watch it on. Anyone know if it is free to air in Spain?
