I would rather have him up top but only because he has lots to learn.
On the wing he is great but tends to take too much on, his decision making is a bit poor which reflects his age, this is not helped by how few we get into the box at times.

Would u rather have Martial as the main striker next season? For me NO. Martial is best suited on the left and he has freedom to cut inside and take on players. We need another striker, someone that can score from the slightest of chances, someone that can score from tight spots without the need to dribble everybody. Someone that can shoot at tight spots.. Martial is not that man to be frank. Right now the only player we have that is close to that is Rashord and he is just 18. Both Martial and Rashford will improve with time.

That wasn't the question, like I said Martial takes too much on at the moment (age/learning related) and would have less decisions to make in the striker position.

Nope, he get less chance playing in the middle. great player no doubt but we need a striker in the mould of Harry Kane (if we can't get someone in the class of Aguero). Harry kane doesn't need to take on players and he's not the fastes player but he has positional sense and can shoot at the slightest of chance. Rooney use to do that but not anymore. Martial is a player that needs a very clear chance to score. Yes he creates his own chances by taking on players but we can't rely on him taking on players all the time. I can see martial developing into a player in the mould of Ribery, Robben, Neymar or Ronaldo. These players play from the flank and get inside to score goals ans create chances.

Again you are taking me wrong. I am not saying he should be the main striker going forward, just that at the moment I think he would be more effective in that role until he learns that he doesn't have to beat 4/5 players every time he gets the ball.

Because he is making LvG look like a genius. That won't sit well with Treble and Stan. :D

I personally prefer Martial on the left. But the again, I still want to see Memphis given a chance to succeed. Which means Martial would need to go in the middle.

He's so ****ing good that he could make CFC look like a genius!

Mrs Stan just left to get Stan Jnr who has been at a sleepover. When he gets back I get to tell him that tickets are sorted and we're going to the cup final. Even if we lose it will be one of the great days. Me and my lad at a cup final!

However, Wembley is no place for losers, and you need to win to ensure those memories aren't tinged with years of meh.
 
Funnily enough I would like to see both Martial and another proven striker play up top - Rashford can continue to play up front alternating with Martial (and an.other) to continue his development. With Martial playing on the left he only has one option - to cut in, while playing centrally would give him another option to release or to run. Imagine those two up front and the likes of Bale on the wing

Thanks fella. Going to a Cup Final with my boy is an absolute dream come true. Hopefully LVG doesn't turn it into a nightmare!
 
Great game of football.

Martial is a cracking player. Ran Everton into the ground. Although having Besic at RB was the obvious flaw, Martial exposed him very well though.

Tough game for the Everton fans to lose, could have easily gone either way.


Man Utd doing their best to make Everton look like a great team <whistle>

Nothing new there, we've made Genk, Norwich and Villa look good.
