It's very rare I watch a full non City game. It was a reminder just how boring modern football is. Did give me time to reflect;
  • City/Leicester's developments since we were above them and told we had new owners back in 2015(?)
  • how Kasper never lived upto his dad's level. Then 5 minutes later, he's a Jim Montgomery esq legend.
  • 5 mins later, VAR has surpassed anything Kasper achieved. Absolutely obvious it was going to be offside (by an index finger?), but a couple of seasons ago, it wouldn't have been considered. And these were given every game at league One level.
  • how highly Callum Elder is thought of at LCFC

If this has already been mentioned tough ****, apparently vardy is now the only player to have played in every round of the FA cup, according to the bbc.....and probably the stats.

Can we look closely at the stats, esp around our fa cup final appearance

I'm really pleased for Leicester, a well-run team, managed very well, and extremely likable owners. I think they got a bit of the rub of the green to be fair in the game but certainly deserve their victory.

P.S. Lovely to see Rodgers take time out to acknowledge Andy King & Callum Elder. Plus Eldin gets a winners medal for doing **** all apparently.

A goal shouldn't be disallowed because of this. If it really is offside the rule needs looking at imo.

VAR needs adjustment, the offsides that get the publicity need sorting out, either needs to be mm or a clear offside. Too many mm offsides are happening, worse judgment has been from corners than offsides.
The problem with VAR is down to Sky, the whole idea for VAR was because watching a game on Sky, any incident was replayed in a second, that’s what fans wanted. Not the stupid, a hair out of place is now offside.

That’s what armchair fans wanted...

It wants sorting by scrapping. It’s ****

... yet, right away I shouted 'he's offside'!
Yes, it was close, but I could see it was offside.
VAR was slow coming onto the screen. For a few moments I was a bit gutted tbh, thinking Chelsea had got away with one.

Funny innit. I often struggle to stay interested enough to watch any non-City games, but I really enjoyed watching yesterday.
Yep, 1st half was pretty crap, but 2nd half was excellent. Some really good football, a couple of great saves (one being nearly but not quite as good as Myhill's v Watford :emoticon-0105-wink:), the drama of the non-goal, a superb goal (being nearly but not quite as good as Diame's :emoticon-0105-wink:). I guess it helps a bit when you are willing one team on to win, and they do. Irrespective, all in all I really enjoyed it.
I also enjoyed the 2 European Cup semi's too.

A goal worthy of winning any game. What a hit from Tielemans. Well run club, owning family really well respected by everyone. I just felt it was a really fitting victory for their owner that perished in that crash.

Well done Leicester.
I agree

I did enjoy the game, but probably because I have Leicester City born and bred relatives and friends (one is just recovering from a heart attack too) so I was happy for them (and happy for him it didn't go to penalties!!!)
