Haha, Gillingham. We were the last ball to be drawn in the previous round, but the very first ball this round. No excuse for not making it to the 5th round.
I bet the Gills are chuffed they've been drawn against Wales biggest and most successful football team
We couldn't have asked for a better draw. Firstly we've got a home tie and secondly its against a team from a lower division. Potter showed his intent in the last round, fielding a strong team, so I assume he will do the same in the next fixture.
If we go with our strongest side then we should progress. We must show respect to Gillingham that they deserve, we don’t want to be another scalp for them. Be strong, be professional and we should progress.
We totally have to respect Steve Lovell's Gills, after all they knocked out a club that's bigger than Barcelona... He gets his wish to, he wanted us being a Jack himself..
I am not suggesting it will be a walk in the park but if we play with the same attitude and control we showed against Villa we should progress to the 5th round.
We will need our strongest side out again, Hopefully the same side as last time.......Experimenting must stop now as we play a more settled side that will know where players will be blindfolded......Potters first half season while he has been looking for his best side has gone pretty well but we should have won a few of those games where we were the better side but were poor at finishing, We could easily be at the top now if our finishing was just half as good as what it has been.....The second half of the season i predict will be better than the first half and although we will lose games i believe we will make at least the Playoffs.....
I think the side is good enough to get to the play offs just need to be consistent and not throw winnable games away.
Saw this link on Twitter. The atmosphere at the Vetch that night was great especially when that goal went in. Harry Redknapp looked as though he had just eaten some Wallaby penis
