23rd August 2008, first ever away game in the Premier League. Blackburn Rovers v Hull City.

Two sets of completely deluded **** wits in charge of the clubs, and look where we both are now, less than a decade later.

And to keep it topical, we got done 4-0 by Crewe in a pre -season friendly that year as well.

Enjoyed that day. Richard Garcia slam dunk celebration after making it 1-1. The 'Guv'nor' introduced as Blackburn manager for first home game. Didn't last long.

Anyway, great days back then.

I went too that friendly it was god damn awful.

I used to attend pre season matches over a hundred miles away, yet now I won't even go to a home game. It really is sad what's happened.
