Welcome to the new sub board. The same house rules apply as the main board but anything (within reason) is open to discussion here.

Will be moving relevant threads across in the near future. Enjoy <ok>

As always this is a board for our members so any and all suggestions are always welcome.
 
Where did this come from? I'm guessing the incessant pestering of Mick finally paid off then? Nice one!

I suppose the cow thread will be the first to make the transition?

Its a tough one, the games will be seen more if they are on the main page

I've just mentioned on my group that, if the games are going in here, I'll transfer the +/– game during the summer break.

I think the summer break's a good time to have a full reshuffle. The main games can still be stickied within the sub-forum but with only the current race thread stickied on the main forum and all the hot topics at the top of the list I think it'll be a lot more inviting for new F1 fans.

Are you aware that this off-topic sub-forum is accessible to non-members? I don't know if that's intentional but it isn't standard in my experience.

Where was that getting to know you thread template?

Didn't Bergy have a driving music thread, too?

They would be topical debates not off topic.

I think this place should be used for forum games and unrelated to F1 topics kind of like the GC but for the F1 community

Would it also be a good idea to advertise the big games on the main board via an index page with links?

In my opinion - no. Not that it's a bad idea, just that the sub-forum's right there, the games are just a click away, and I thought the point was to all but eliminate the list of stickied topics at the top of the page (although you could include an index in the House Rules).

This is a good point and something I also wondered. However, I suppose part of the idea of the games is to appeal to potential new members? Would it be possible to put all games together somewhere (entitled 'Games', for instance&#8230;) and a link to them permanently showing in the main board?
 
Ha! I wrote that before reading the next two posts beneath the one I quoted, which already consider some of the implications.

Idea: perhaps the Sub-forum could include 'games etc.' in its name? (Or something similar?)
