Hard Brexit here we come thanks to the DUP <ok>

In other news, the DUP website has gone down after floods of traffic
when it comes back up go read their manifesto and see exactly what sort of Brexit they want.
Clues:
Free trade
Free movement
Customs union
All to be retained

What they want and what they get ;) <ok>

pretty sure they will know what political oblivion looks like having seen what happened to lib dems for going into bed with the tories. they will get enough to make it worthwhile. HardBrxit not a chance. The EU now wont budge an inch and its all Mays fault!

We'll just make gay marriage illegal for them and they'll be happy for their few years in the limelight.

At this time of national rejoicing, I believe we should be restrained and conciliatory in our comments.

I'd like to thank Chesh, and all Tories, for doing the patriotic thing to ensure we avoid a hard Brexit. It took great foresight to install as PM someone devoid of character, personality, empathy and communication skills and ensure they ran on a manifesto designed to alienate young people, old people, tax payers, people with property, Remain voters, and people who respect human rights ...... brilliantly done.

You don't turn around Opinion poll leads of 20% without a lot of hard work

A proud moment, I'd say.

Now for watering down Brexit, then later on abandoning the idea completely <ok>

This has been pretty much a perfect result for labour. Let's be honest here. Torys going to bed with the DUP to **** the brexit deal and leave a nation of even more disalusioned older voters and with labour getting their flag firmly planted with a seemingly more encouraged younger vote. You need to remember Corbyns IRA antics won't concern the young voe that much.

The Torys will now try and cling onto power until 2022 (I'm confident there won't be an election until then). That will come round and no doubt DUP will be destroyed by that point. Predict another even closer hung parliament and a race to get some deals done.

All guess work mind you.

Thats my fear, election after election of hung parliament whilst Corbyn is in charge. I think we should and would have had a hung parliament last time around but for some reason it was a blip, probably to do with UKIP and a referendum promise. Realistically this should have been a third consecutive hung parliament, May took a gamble and it failed badly. This is the normal from here on in, last election was a freebie for the Conservatives but they didn't realise it.

It is certainly an error by the Conservatives but to put it into perspective, add the seats of Labour, SNP, Lib Dems and DUP togther and they still have only the same amount of seats as Conservative.

So adding the seats together of 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place and you only equal the top party.

It feels bad because of where they were but the reality is, it is still a crushing defeat for Labour
