I can only think now that he intends to sell the bloody lot of them and replace them with his own legends from his lunchbox

Unwatchable for 3 reasons - buffering, camerawork, quality of play. Roller is right, its a warm up only, but looks like there's a lot of work to do.

Except when we were parking the bus last season, and for the Sunderland game at home, we looked utterly shapeless and devoid of a plan under Harold. He's got 3 weeks to sort it. His typical plan is getting the ball quick to 2 quick, talented wide men. Expect us to buy at least one winger, way too much effort for him to try and convert Traore, that would involve coaching.

Some of the stuff I have read on here is completely ridiculous. For a first pre season game, where you only get given 45 minutes of football with players that aren't fit, some are settling into a new team and some regaining fitness, to judge them is insane. They've been back training for just over a week. It's always going to take time for players to settle back in regardless of the level they play. As others have said, i'm waiting until the first game of the season. The thing with pre season is to form consistency; similar formations throughout and similar styles of play. Just wait and see, it'll come good.

My biggest concern last season (before it started), was that as we got closer to the season starting Hughes did not play the same team suggsting he didnt know what it was. This was borne out in the early games as we know. No need to panic yet, its about game time. lets see how the next two games evolve to see if Harry starts to shape a team. If he doesnt then I will panic and join the chorus of the Doom Mongers

Too slow and as last year too many cooks. Last year during some of the matches we bossed the play at the times ... we have outstanding players but we are fragile. Exeter have a plan to sit back yet we have no plan B. We made the running in so many games last year yet lost this could be another one of those matches however we have a new side 2nd half.

It doesn't take a footballing brain to see what needs to be done here ... step it up quicker sharper and get that goal that unlocks and should kill this lot off. shoot on site apart from Mbia

Too many touches in midfield ... do that when you are 2 up. Traore looks outstanding but that is that

Yes they other side can't score without the ball yet they have had three chances ... they need to understand goals win games nothing else ... saying that we can the keep the ball nowadays shame we have forgotten the other side of the game

Totally agree with this. Would like to hear your thoughts on too many cooks. I felt last year that on paper we usually had a strong midfield on the pitch but nobody who took control. We passed laterally a lot and lacked clear determination, speed of thought and incisive passing from the middle. INO we lacked leadership and experience in this crucial area. For this reason alone I would make an exception and sign Parker. He knows when to speed it up and slow it down. He will demand higher standards off those around him.

Agree fully with this. It's our first game of Pre season. No-one ever remembers the results. There are players who will depart and players to arrive so why are we criticising performance already?

Christ almighty

For some reason I get the feeling that a lot of the negative stuff on here was written before the game even started, waiting for the final whistle so they could plunge that red send button!! In fact, they could have plucked their musings from any of last season's game threads and just cut and pasted. Some people just aren't happy unless they're miserable........ ;-)

Of course it's a run out but for both teams and Exeter contained us very easily and what's more should of win the game
